Who We Are
Established in 1979 as the SOS Shelter, Rise operates one of New York State's oldest domestic violence shelters. Rise's mission is to assist families who experience or are threatened by domestic violence and to increase the community's awareness of this pervasive issue.
What We Do
Rise provides comprehensive, licensed domestic violence services to the Broome County area. Services include shelter, hotline, advocacy, counseling, legal and community education.
