The Bridge Community Center is located in downtown Johnson City, just down the street from Wilson Hospital. The Bridge houses many programs and community resources to families and neighbors. Throughout the school year we operate a free After School Program for kids ages 3-18 years. This program includes classes the kids can choose from: STEM, arts and crafts, dance, cooking, and various activities in our gym. Every program includes a family style dinner so we can connect with one another. There are also various events throughout the year to celebrate accomplishments, support families with needs, and come together as a community.

We are looking for community members that are passionate about the potential that lies within the next generation. The commitment would include: volunteering your time once per week (Tuesday or Thursday) during the program hours, once per month training and team meeting, and involvement in at least one of our special events in the year. A background check and interview is required for a volunteer to be accepted as a mentor in the program.
