Keep our wheels turning and our mission moving. As a Fleet Support Volunteer, you’ll help ensure our vehicles are safe, ready, and reliable—so teams can deliver help where it’s needed most. From inspections to onboarding drivers, your behind-the-scenes support powers every mile of relief and recovery. Flexible schedule working with our Endicott and Johnson City locations to assist with the fleet locally.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep Vehicles Ready: Help schedule and track maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure our fleet stays in top condition.
- Stay Organized: Ensure vehicle documents like registration and insurance are up-to-date and properly stored.
- Support Repairs: Coordinate with vendors and local shops to complete timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Pitch In: Perform light maintenance and help keep vehicles clean and road-ready.
- Spot Issues Early: Conduct regular inspections and report any repair needs.
- Help Drivers Succeed: Assist with onboarding new drivers and ensure they understand safety guidelines and fleet procedures.
- Improve Systems: Share ideas with the Operations team to make fleet management more efficient.
