WSKG Front Desk Volunteer Job Description
Reports to the Finance Manager
Shifts: Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
Answer telephone and respond to inquiries. Transfer calls to appropriate recipients as needed.
Accept deliveries and packages and alert recipients
Ensure all visitors sign in
Assist with mailings, as needed
Assist with station special events, as needed
Assist with calling donors to thank them for their donations
Assist with general administrative support
Requirements/Expectations
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to gather information for decision making
Represent WSKG in a positive light
Ability to use technology such as the telephone system, laptop, Google Calendar, and Microsoft Excel
