Truth Pharm

Truth Pharm was born as a result of tragedy caused by the opioid epidemic, but we’re different from other organizations born from the same tragedy. We are not an anti-drug organization. We are an anti-harm organization: we believe that at all points in time, there will be people who use substances – some for recreation, some for pain, some for mental health reasons, some because they are addicted. Our goal as an organization is to reduce the harms caused by substance use and the way our society responds. Our core values follow these principles. We raise awareness, reduce the stigma, educate the public and advocate for policy changes to reduce the harms caused by substance use.

Truth Pharm provides a wide array of services and programs to raise awareness, reduce stigma, educate the public and advocate for policy change to reduce the harms of substance use. We provide harm reduction services that meet people where they are, offering resources, overdose prevention training, and non-judgemental support to keep individuals safe and connected to care. Through education, Truth Pharm works to dismantle stigma and misinformation by providing trainings and programs to families, professionals and the broader public, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to respond effectively to substance use.  Additionally, Truth Pharm engages with local and state officials to advocate for policies and systems that provide effective, stigma-free support for communities directly impacted by substance use.
