Who We Are

NoMa (North of Main) is a community organization on Binghamton New York's west side, located between Front Street, Jarvis Street, Main Street, and the Southern Tier Line railroad tracks.

NoMa is comprised of a partnership of local residents, small business owners, community organizations, and local leaders invested in maintaining the quality of life, and growth of their historic neighborhood.  Within the neighborhood is a community center that provides programming, workshops, events, and support to residents.

What We Do

At the NoMa Community Center, we provide a space for residents to come together for art, culture, mental and physical health wellness, and basic needs.  We are partnered with Binghamton Food Rescue and the Lourdes ACES program.  Programing at NoMa includes fitness classes, art sessions, free fresh produce giveaway, financial wellness sessions, and various other programming.  We often partner with community organizations to table during events.  We have a free clothing closet for residents, community meals, and often basic hygiene products.
