The Discovery Center is seeking a total of 6 volunteers to help with our Egg Hunt Event this year. This event is usually our largest of the year with hundreds of visitors, but due to Covid- 19 restrictions we are having to limit capacity and create visitation time slots.
This year we will have three time slots, each a half hour apart to allow for disinfecting, from 10am-11am, 11:30am-12:30pm, and 1pm-2pm. Volunteers would stay from 10am-2pm preferably and help with check-in of visitors and hiding eggs around the museum before each time slot begins. Then, while visitors are in the museum looking for eggs, volunteers will be aiding in crafts, activities, and games.
Volunteers must fill out a health attestment and handbook form prior to volunteering. Please contact Gillian Sloan if you are interested in volunteering for this event. She will then send you the necessary forms.
