Location: FamPlan Binghamton Medical Center
This will be a hands-on, flexible opportunity to support access to sexual health resources in our community. Volunteers will have the chance to participate in a variety of activities, including:
Assembling care kits (as supplies allow)
Distributing STI testing coasters to local restaurants and bars in downtown Binghamton
Dropping off resource materials at local nonprofits and community organizations
We’ll begin with a brief orientation before breaking into small groups. You’ll be able to choose the activity that feels most comfortable for you.
A few helpful notes:
Please arrive on time to take part in the orientation
Comfortable clothing and walking shoes are recommended
If you’re able to drive for outreach activities, feel free to let us know (not required)
All volunteers will complete a confidentiality agreement and time log upon arrival
