Our Legacy
The Astor D. Rice Foundation embodies the spirit of its namesake, Astor Rice, a true pillar of his community who quietly and selflessly gave more than he had to ensure the well-being of his fellow community members. Founded by his son, King Rice, the Astor D. Rice Foundation continues to honor Astor’s legacy by serving the same Binghamton community where Astor raised his family of five.

Our Mission
In Astor’s name, our foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and families in underserved neighborhoods where they live, work, and play. We do this by forming meaningful partnerships with community stakeholders and tirelessly working to promote citizenship, character, competency, and civility.
